"BrainPort" Science Exhibit Design

My exhibit featured BrainPort which is a non-surgical device to assist people with no sight. Pixelated patterns and effervescent patterns made out of braille were used throughout to refer to how BrainPort works. Illustration styles were also inspired by pixels and round shapes. Colors were carefully chosen based on the color theory for people with light perception to be able to navigate the space well.

in the center wall of the exhibit, there are images that  are split in half. the right side is a pixelated version of the image in order to show how people see with BrainPort.
In addition to the exhibit design, I created a 3 minute motion to  explain the BrainPort. By choosing motion as my deliverable,  I was able to show the complicated process in a simpler manner and most importantly, I was able to give a better idea of how  people can see with BrainPort.
